Asbestos Removal

Asbestos surveying, removal and encapsulation of all types of asbestos containing materials in industrial, commercial and residential properties.

The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 prevents anyone from removing Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM's) unless they have receive the correct training which details how such work should be undertaken.

Here at Duncan Contracts we have staff qualified to remove non-licensable ACM’s and carry out ACM removals as part of Housing Maintenance, Refurbishments, Demolitions etc.

Duncan Contracts can undertake removals of asbestos containing materials (ACMs) or where preferred, encapsulation of materials with high quality co-polymer sealants and coatings to prevent fibre release. This service relates not only to commercial and industrial applications but to domestic as well.

Prior to commencement and removal of asbestos containing materials (ACM's), we agree work methods with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) and the customer, then construct and seal off the work area from all but our trained staff. At this point we can then remove or encapsulate the ACM's depending on your requirements and situation.

Having located any ACM's within your premises, there is a good chance that you are going to need to undertake remediation or removal works; these works are inherently disruptive, complicated and expensive.
